So I’m Going On a Trip…
You know it never hits me till the day before. I’ve gotta pack up all my things, again, then drive to Fredericton, again, then South of the border for 3 months. I’m not complaining don’t get me wrong! It’s just surreal; I’ve waited for this for so long and now it is finally happening…
I think some people are wondering, what is the purpose for this trip? To find yourself? To explore? Train? Well….
First, I want to seek out intriguing places that I would want to come back and possibly live. Second, there are some side goals that I have. There are cities like New York, Washington, and Austin (to name a few) that I want to see for my own eyes.
I want to take in a football game. Since there is next to no chance that I will see any of the NFL playoffs, I will settle for a high school game. I want to see if the Americans passion for football is like ours for hockey.
I’ve always wanted to live enxt to a mountain which Tucson will provide. California, I mean what can I say, were living in the O.C.!!!
Traveling with Chris will also give me a chance to get to know him better. We both have friends along the way so it will be a good chance to meet new people.
So, as I sit here with all my stuff being packed into bags, I am starting to feel the excitement about whats to come. No lack of adventure I’m sure. The only regret is that I have to leave my girlfriend behind in our little apartment while I gallivant all over the map. I’m going to miss her and maybe even her crazy kitties.
If you want to come visit give me a write. We are going to be going to the Super Bowl party in Arizona if people need a place to stay. Next time I write I’ll be on the road…. NYC on Friday!
Happy (days) Trainin!

I did a trip with my best friend to New York City this past October and it was everything I ever imagined! So many lights! Make sure you go to Time Square on Saturday evening, thats when all the action happens! It truly is the city that doesn’t sleep!
