Christmas Break - Focus On The New Season
Done school! Packed up my car on the 23rd and proceeded to drive to my "home" in Wentzells Lake, Nova Scotia. After 5.5 years I am done with UNB. Will school be out forever? Only time will tell.
So the Christmas break begins. Weather has been great for cycling here in Nova Scotia. My brother and I have gone out the last couple days. Our first reunion on the bike had us cycling at 35km/h with a final sprint into the 40s! Always competition in the family.
Today was another gorgeous day. My brother and I cycled down into Bridgewater via the Lower Branch. We jumped across to route 3 to cycle along the ocean. It was so calm! Until we turned back towards New Germany. We had a semi-fierece wind which meant our hands and toes froze! Other than that it was perfect winter riding. I got my first brick done as I ran home afterwards.
After eating a quick lunch, we were both off to a pick-up game of football. This game was played over at the West North Field School; my old elementary school. With some early offence our team was able to coast to victory. Lots of fun and thanks to Lorin Robar for organizing the reunion.
The internet at the Worden-Rogers palace is fair at best so I’ll try to keep updating throughout my stay home!
Happy (holidays) trainin!!
