Trans Rockies…

April 22nd, 2008 by Cliff

After a two day drive, I am now in Calgary Alberta  spending sometime with my old roommates from Fredericton.  TI was hoping for better weather as Victoria had a snowfall warning the previous weekend.  Alas, as soon as I passed Golden BC, the snow was falling!  Calgary, on Thursday had a high of 18 degrees.  Now, it’s covered in a blanket of snow!

This week I’m going to be concentrating on my running (its next to impossible to get  out and ride!).  I’ll be doing lots of jogs around the suburbs where I’m staying.  Lottttttts of houses everywhere!

So I’m hoping to get caught up on some videos of my previous weeks travels.  Here is my race, the Diez Vista 50K that I did a couple weeks back.

Enjoy!  Happy (I wish the snow would go away) Trainin!

AWESOME vid, my son. I can only imagine how taxing - both physically and mentally - that must have been. I can see you and Mark and Jodi doing the Trans Rockies this summer! :D xoxo

I saw the long term after effects of this run on you, and this Vid really brought home why you were such a basket case. Good on ya’ for doing it!

    Now how about some snowshoeing?
